Peace on Earth!

We found Son Mas on Trip Advisor, and what a great find. We wanted somewhere that provided us with peace and quiet, no noise from the eternal building works that seems to go on these days in Spanish resorts, downright luxury and a feeling of being spoilt. Some years ago we spent a week at La Residencia in Deia, but this is even better. Beautiful in door and out door pool, a small gym for those feeling energetic, stunning countryside around the property, fantastic helpful and friendly staff and beautiful spacious rooms and great food whenever you want it. This is not somewhere you want to bring your kids, but for those who can get a break! or are past such things, Son Mas is definitely somewhere you can feel all is well with the world!

Escapism, privacy and peace and quiet!

Lo pasamos muy bien en este hotel,una excelente habitacion, una piscina genial, tranquilidad total y relax, personal muy agradable y buena comida, buena situacion cerca de unas playas fantasticas,no se puede pedir mas, volveremos el año que viene.

Hotel Son Mas

The sign for Son Mas came as a welcome surprise to both of us. I had expected to get lost, having copied out only half of the instructions sent by the hotel before getting distracted.

It had been a while since I’d driven on the ‘wrong’ side of the road, so the 40-minute drive from Palma airport was slightly fraught with nervous commentary from Mr Smith, mostly a repetitive loop of ‘you’re too close to the barriers!’ This was followed by a desperate (and useless) leaning away from said barriers. My insistence on having the Spanish radio full blare and the windows down as we bombed along the motorway apparently didn’t help. To me, there’s nothing like a blast of hot air to mark the official start of the holiday...

Extremely nice stay

Beautiful hotel, with a fantastic swimming pool and friendly staff. We went there with two small children (4 and 6 years) and we had a wonderful time. Rooms are very nice, clean and quiet. If there was one element that would be better, is to have the ability to obtain food at anytime (snacks only available at certain times)....but a very minor criticism in an otherwise very nice stay.

Quite possibly the most relaxing hotel I've ever stayed in

A beautiful hotel set in its own extensive grounds with no other buildings in sight. A delightfully helpful and very friendly staff who can be quite rightly proud of their business. With only 16 delightful rooms there's no sense of being "just a customer" This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever visited, providing for one of the most relaxing holidays I've ever had. Whilst there are many good restaurants a short taxi trip away - and the hotel will arrange a reservation and a taxi - don't miss the opportunity to eat at the hotel, the food and service was fantastic. In my view this a hotel for adults, whilst children are welcome but there are none of the usual clubs/pools/activities that children might want so they probably would get bored. To be clear, it being a child-free zone strongly appeals to me!.

A slice of paradise

Son Mas is a fantastic hotel, the staff were so helpful, welcoming and accommodating. It is so peaceful and quiet, not really a place for children, unless they are very quiet. Just the sort of place you want to go for a complete rest and quiet to gather yourself. Away from the hustle and bustle of other holiday makers and tourists, but close enough to the beautiful beaches. The food was great and the chef was very helpful if you wanted something different. It was our anniversary on the last night and they set up a table for dinner in a very secluded spot and lit lots of candles for us. I can see us returning year after year. We really did have a wonderful stay.
